Course for teachers,
teacher-trainees and experienced pupils.
These residential
courses for teachers, trainees and experienced pupils have

attended has been enthusiastic about the unique learning
experience they have had.
The courses are run in English and
are self-catering (communal cooking); special diets are
catered for.

Pupils and
teacher-trainees
For pupils who have been
having lessons for a time, these residential courses provide
a rich opportunity to experience a more intense level of
Alexander work. The interaction with other pupils and the
chance to work with several teachers gives much scope for
broadening one’s experiential knowledge.
Many pupils
have expressed how helpful they have found it to have the
opportunity to engage in practical work, for example in the
kitchen, alongside Alexander Technique teachers.

Teachers
and final-term trainees attending as full participants
Particularly newer or less
experienced teachers may wish to attend as full participants
and have 5 hours daily of teachers classes and workshops
with experienced teachers.
As well as the continuous
learning element in this level of participation, one can
gain valuable experience of the dynamic of group teaching.

details of CPD classes click here.
Teachers
attending as course assistants
Teachers may attend on a
"half-and-half" basis, whereby half of the class-time each
day they will teach the pupils, and run or assist in
workshops; the other half of the time they may attend
classes for teachers and workshops as part of their
professional development.
This intense programme, in which
one is both giving and receiving Alexander work, can be a
unique learning and teaching experience.
There are special
arrangements for fees for teachers participating in this
way.
