WATC organises
two residential courses per annum: a weekend course in the
UK in the Spring and a one week course on the European
mainland (currently in Spain) in the summer.
These courses provide a wonderful opportunity to further
develop the
application of the Technique to daily life in a supportive
environment, and to meet
teachers and pupils from different backgrounds and with
varying interests. Senior students will have the
opportunity to lead a small activity, thus gaining valuable
experience of working with a group of people under
controlled conditions and with plenty of help at hand.
Tuition for these courses is covered by the fees for the
training course, but there will be a supplementary charge
for food and accommodation. Students will need to make their
own travel arrangements.
The hours contribute towards the mandatory 1600 hours of
tuition required to complete the course.
The residential courses are open to prospective
teacher-trainees who wish to experience our approach to
learning and teaching the Technique.
